Ancient Muse Narrator

Although my voice conjures up the refined, trustworthy sound of the BBC, I was born within the sound of Bow Bells in East London which makes me a true 'Cockney."!

Audiofile magazine has called my Earphones award-winning narration "vibrant..she sounds like someone you would encounter tending an English rose garden".

I have a seasoned and sophisticated voice that has brought to life over 120 titles for Highbridge Audio/Tantor Division of Recorded Books Inc, ranging from the biography of Eleanor of Aquitane and the Queen Mother to murder mysteries and the bungling of Brexit. Currently a resident of the US, I may switch between playing an American socialite and an authentic cockney guttersnipe with ease. I'm a lively collaborator and enjoy the chance to record in directed sessions.

As a retired Board-certified Music Therapist, Licensed Counselor and a veteran of the Michigan Opera, I bring a trained musician's ear to character and dialect.

My great (x5) grandfather General Peter Gansevoort may well have approved of my move across the pond...he served George Washington in the Revolutionary war!
